Duplicate Clients displayed in MMC

Hi all,

Has anybody else encountered duplicate names under MMC?

Is there a way to resolve this other than manually deleting them?

The only time I have seen something like this was when we were installing a new machine for a user. The new machine had the same computer name and user name as the old one. So, once the Norton client software was installed the management side of Norton identified the new machine and now there are two machinies with the same name on the management screen. Is it possible that something similar is happend to you? Check the IP/IPX address of the duplicate names and see if there different. If they are then you have two machines on the network with the same name.

I have had the same problem, have been rebuilding a complete system. However after a while they disapper. Or I just delete the incorrect ones. If you can't fix it in 20 call someone who can.
