Duplicate calendar entries

Can anyone help me with a really irritating problem? Every now and again, in Lotus Notes 5.0.1.1 I get my calendar entries for any given day duplicated across every day for the next 2 years..is this a common problem and if so how do I resolve it?

Any help would be much appreciated
