duplicate calendar entries

I have a user with a palm, and his problem is that all of his calendar entries are being duplicated. Is there any way to fix this? I will give more information as soon as I find time to actually go up there and look at it myself...but I was just wondering if anyone experienced something similar. Thanks.

This is generally caused when you've got the software set to synchronise the files - usually it works, but sometimes (especially for the first sync or if you're syncing on more than one pc) this can cause duplicates as the software isn't able to exactly match entries. To fix:

1.With the current Palm desktop software: tools/add-ins/remove duplicates. (If you're using Outlook, then you may have to use something like

2.If the duplicate entries are only on the palm or on the desktop, then you can (by clicking on the HotSync icon near the clock, and choosing "custom&quot always force the good copy to overwrite the bad.
