Duplicate Appointments in Calendar

When users accept meeting requests from the BB, all is well. When they accept meeting requests via Outlook, there are duplicate entries. It seems that when the BB receives the initial request it marks it in the Calendar as Tentative & when it is accpeted via Outlook, it adds another appt. Anyone experience this problem before?

We've recently experienced a similar issue.
We install a variety of Blackberries (Verizon, Cingular, Nextel - different models - 7750, 7290, etc) using their respective sub-installers and the Desktop Manager 4.0.
The duplicates entries are either with the Calendar or the user's Contacts (we're also using Microsoft Office 2K3 - Exchange 2000). Sometimes the duplicates (even in pairs of 3) are on the Blackberry and sometimes only in Outlook.
We've tried uninstalling/reinstalling both the subinstaller and the Desktop Manager software. Currently, we've been unsuccessful with both the RIM & Blackberry websites but plan to try their tech support Monday.
 
1) disable wireless calender sync
2) remove all duplicate from outlook
3) clear out your BB calender using the restore and backup on the desktop manager.
4) user the blackberry utility...i think its called cleanuser or something. i forgot but will post it.
5) sync (still with wireless sync disalbed
6) finally enable wireless sync

that should fix it.
