One user reported missing calendar entries and these entries for found on another user's calendar. Why would that happen? Also what is a quick way to delete duplicate calendar entries? When creating a new user, what is a straight forward method for moving an existing calendar to the new account? Thanks for your help!

One user reported missing calendar entries and these entries for found on another user's calendar. Why would that happen?

Certainly not something that GoldMine would do automatically, so I would imagine that the activities have been changed by another user

Also ensure that the database is correctly maintained.

Also what is a quick way to delete duplicate calendar entries?

If you are using version 5.x or below then unfortunately there is no automatic way of doing this, the activities will have to be deleted one by one. I would say the best way would be through the Activity List (Keyboard shortcut F6). If you are using GM6 then you can delete using the Auto-Update function.

When creating a new user, what is a straight forward method for moving an existing calendar to the new account?
1. DO not delete the old user immediately
2. Create the new user as normal
3. Press F6 to open the Activity List
4. Click on the Open tab
5. Right-click under the Tab headings, select Options > Date Range > All Dates
6. Right-click again under the Tab headings, select User.... Select the old user with the Activities to move to the new.
7. The Activity List will display all the user's scheduled activities
8. Right-click under the Tab headings, select Options > Roll-over...
9. The Roll over dialogue will appear, Select the New user. Select Roll over each activity by and set to 0
10. Click Roll Over. All the user's activities will be rolled over to the new user.
11. You are now free to delete the Old user

Hope this Helps
