duplexers

anyone know how to service a duplexer on a 4050TN.
I know it sounds like a sh*t question, but the dam thing keeps jamming, and blatently refuses to duplex......its just not playing the "I'm a duplexer, therefore i duplex game!"......think it wants to be a toaster.

Usually when we have a lot of jams in a 4050 duplexor, there is a piece of paper stuck in it. Take a good look inside - tryand use something thin like a ruler to push any obstructions out.

It's a non-servicable part so far as I am aware so don't be tempted to take it apart!! -----------------------------------------------------

Pre-punched three hole paper can be problematic with
a duplexor. If this is what you are using, try it again
with unpunched paper and see if the situation improves.
