I have one group in my report printing a new page before. When I have odd page numbers for a group it prints a new page but on the previous group's report because I am duplexing. I used the remander function <> 0 but then my group header info prints on a page of it's own. Can someone help?

Thanks in advance, Smatthews

Try creating a group footer the length of one page and be sure "keep together" is checked for the group. Conditionally suppress this group footer if page number is even (already printing back of a page).

Thanks MrBillSC. It kinda worked but sometimes the page numbers continued with the next grouping instead of starting over with every group.

Where do you have your "reset page number after" set? It should be in the new group footer section that you print conditionally.

I have a report in Vers. 8.5 with the same requirements and it seems to be working fine for me. I have a group footer that is blank and has "keep together" and "reset page number after" checked. It is large enough to force a new page if it is printed. It is conditionally suppressed if the page number is even (back side of page).
No other sections have "reset page number after" selected.
If this is not working for you, maybe something in your formatting for another group of section is causing the page numbering problem. Make sure the "reset page number after" is checked and is not conditionally set.

Thanks MrBill. Sorry for the delayed response. I was out with the flu. It looks like it should work.. got to be something on my end. I take another look.
