In Excel, duplex printing is set up via View, Print, Properties, More Options and then select the type of desired paper flip. When sending the file to a co-worker, the duplex setting was "turned off", yet it was "saved" in the original file. Is there a way to have this duplex setting saved, so that another person does not have to set it when they use the file??

Try setting it under File>Page setup.

If the printer your co-worker has set for default does not support duplex printing, it will revert anyway.
