Hello, can anybody help me with this issue? Does Corel recognize duotone images? I am trying to import doutone PSD files in Corel but the programme converts them automatically into grayscale. Can I do anything at all to keep the duotone shades to my pictures? Help!

Export your duotone from Photoshop as an eps and import that into Draw as eps NOT postcript interpreted, that should work, not tried other filters in V12 as my duotone stuff has always been done in Corel products.

Does this mean that my duotone PSD images imported in corel just like this loose their nice duotone shades in the process of printing on paper??? Please help!

Don't know is the short answer, my duotone/monotone work has always needed separating, I check that the colours show up in the print preview but of course they output black/tints for the press. The eps method described is only really relevant for printing to a Postscript device. I would say that bitmap stuff is better suited to being imported into PhotoPaint not Draw, it more likely to be successfull if it is in PhotoPaint - saved as a cpt and that imported into Draw, but this is an educated (?) guess.
