DUN Citrix app shuts down LAN

Why does my LAN (router/ISP) connection become "non-operational" (Win XP). After disconnecting a DUN Citrix session? Could Citrix be causing this?

I've never seen this happen - but if you can repro it 10 times out of 10, then try it with a Terminal Server connection and see if it behaves the same way.
