Dump problems

Am I missing something here? Does someone know if I need to change the permissions / owner on a particular file for a dump?

If you are using a NIU2 with flashdisk it could be the flashdisk that is broken. I got the same message when I tried to do a FICRI. When I finally (after many hours) tried another flashdisk (i bought one from the local dealer) it was OK instantly.

I am using an HDU5. I don't think there is any thing wrong with it. I can copy REL1 to the location where REL2 should go, but I still get the same error when I try to dump. I have mounted and unmount the subfs's a few times and used FIFTI which gave result OK.

I don't really do this sort of thing very often so I'm not sure what else to try.

I think owner is DR

So try "fifoc ATH=/SYSN/USR2/SES/DR/REL2/, owner=DR;"

Hi what has happened is You have manually
changed or created the REL directory.
You actually have too many rights set.
Match the parameters below.
As the post above says check that the owner is DR
which is USERID 2

This is how a healty REL directory looks like:
