dump m3904 personal directory

Hi,
I have a user that has 100 entries in the personal directory
on his 3904. He is incessantly complaining about a bad screen and want a new phone --- BUT Also complaining to all that will listen about how his directory will be lost.

How can I dump the directory in the new phone. He found references to a pc utility to dump them but I cant find any thing about it.

I really want to tell him to go scratch but can't.

Any help would be appreciated !

Unfortunately personal directory resides on that phones memory only. Cannot be exported to another phone. Tell him to go scratch because there is nothing you can do for him. However in the future you could get around this by giving this person his own speed dial list on the PBX that would kept on the PBX. Just depends on who he is Exec or someone that just thinks their like an Exec.

there is a tool available for doing this, hardware and software, as far as i remember, it is a long time ago that i used it, a similar tool is also available for m3820 sets

you ned to tlak to your vedor and order one

Well it appears there is a utility but requires hardware and software want to burn a couple extra hundred or more ? ? ?
