i have a isdx-L on rev. 8, the system does not do an autodump no a manual dump. the errors i get are 40u code 3 & 23. how do i resolved this problem?

I would say that your Media Card needs to be reformatted. If you can DIR 1.0 I think you will see some extremely large (hence corrupted) files and the only way around this is to reformat, you can not delete these files.
Make sure you have back ups of neccessary files before doing anything.
