I have an exec assistant who looks after two directors. she wants to have one of her buttons light up when their phone is engaged. I know on Mitel this can be done with DSS, but what is the avaya equivalent.

Cheers in advance

AJ

You can use:
busy-ind TAC/Ext: 1234

Or a bridged appearance:
brdg-appr Btn:1 Ext:1234

The bridged appearance allows the assistant to pickup calls coming into that appearance. Btn:1 indicates the first appearance on the execs phone. If (s)he gets a lot of calls you may want to also have a bridged appearance for the second line.
