dumb question about ground start lines

Can you do the flash feature to set up 3way calling on ground start lines?
My customer said that the provider is charging them for 3way calling and she added a recall button to the phone but it is not working or even dropping the call. I told her I don't think you can do hook flash with ground start lines but would check into it. Any help would be great.

If you program a recall button, the phone lines have to have the call transfer feature, whether it is centrex, or even feature link.....a slimmed down version of centrex without all the installation charges. I had the same exact problem. If you are on a Legend, you can just use the transfer button, but let the phone ring 2 times before completing the transfer.

Thanks for the response but, I'm not trying to transfer any calls just setup a one line conference call so I don't have DB loss on the far end. As you know the Ledgend 408 LS/GS MLX card is not an amplified conference card.

You CAN NOT do a SWITCH HOOK FLASH (RECALL) on a GROUND START LINE in a LEGEND.

I'm very sure it ONLY DOES RECALL (FLASH) with LOOP START LINES.

It is my understanding that Flash on a GROUND START LINE does a DISCONNECT !

You can play with the RECALL TIMER, (OPTIONS - MORE - Recall Timer) but I don't think you will be able to make this work.

Thanks that is what I'm thinking. Everyone that I talk to doesn't know much about GS lines and can really tell me if this work on them. I'm going to let my customer know that they need to change over to LS lines and go from their. BTW thanks for responding on both posts.
