We are testing a new Lawson environment and every few days we are unable to inquire upon some data and we get a message which says "Due to misuse, a reboot is required". A reboot does fix the problem, however I would rather avoid having to reboot the machine every couple days. I know this doesn't look like an OS related message, however there was a post in June to the HPUX forumn with the same message for mulitple programs.

I suspect the Inter Process CommunicationS (IPCS) were somehow corrupted. But shutting down Lawson and clearing the hanging IPCS does not solve the problem.

Has anybody run across this? If so, what was the fix?

I believe we have resolved the problem by installing a newer version of our Lawson COBOL compiler.
