Due Date... Help

This is my problem... I am developing a application for my office. I need to be able to automate the due dates for for action types.

Upon reciept of the correspondence in the office a due date will have to be assinged. For example Action type "A" are due 10 day from receipt, Action type "B" are due 15 days from receipt .... on so on. any help would be appreicated.

Just add 10 or 15 to the date of receipt.

Create a table which has the action_type and days_due.

I guess you will have a form to input your data. Then use a drop down for your action type and current date and days_due to get the due date...
