Hello ,
I have a chronic problem with dropped calls in their Avaya gateway. It has a PRI. I know that when a call drops, the carrier can look at a record and see which end dropped it. Problem is, getting someone at the Dubai phone company to do that will be quite hard.
Is there a diag in the Avaya that can be run, hopefully after the fact, that shows which end dropped? Is there a field in CDR? (Doubt it). If not after the fact, what about an ongoing LI TRACE of the trunk group? Would the string show which end dropped in some sort of an ISDN code?
So far I checked that the Gateway is synced to the PRI, and that there are no errors on the circuit.
Thanks,
Joe
