I'm running a centos server on an older dual 450 PII. It works fine for what I need it for at the present time. However It seems that mysql is using only one processor...I think.
I am running 2.6.9-34.ELsmp, so I know I've got access to both processors.
In running a process that should consume all of my processor power with mysql, I discovered that top shows that the mysql is using 99.9% processor, but the CPU(s) line in top shows only 50% processor usage. Suggesting that mysql is only using 1 of the processors.
Is this the way mysql is made, or amd I missing a configuration that would allow it to use both processors?
