Hi,
I've tried finding information on using two NICs to connect to seperate switches but I can only find descriptions on EtherChannel which needs support on the switch.

Does anyone know what kind of redundant link support AIX has or where I can find more information?

Cheers

As I understand this I need 5.2 to do this?

Yeah, you're right. I thought it just described new things in 5.2.

Cheers for that!

AIX newbie here,
I have an IBM-AIX 5 with dual NICs and wanted to configure them to service 2 different subnets? Is this possible?
How do I set the smit tcpip to show different gateways on the other NIC if needed?
Any clues are appreciated?
thanks!
