Dual NIC interfacing

I am working against DOS attack. Architecture I have designed requires two NIC attached to same Monitoring PC.
It will first filter the traffic towards server.
For this purpose, I need to change the MAC address programatically.

If somebody has worked on this kind of project or he has chabged his NIC MAC adress ,please mail relevent information to me
