Dual network cards

Hello,
I have installed a MOM agent on a server with two network cards. The MOM server does not see the agent despite opening the firewall rules for one of the IP's. I am thinking that MOM is trying to use the other network card. Is there a way to force it to set the agent to use a specific IP for communication between itself and the MOM server?
