Just wondering if it is possible to run two motherboards running together, as one computer.

I think that's basically the idea behind dual processor boards, AND they are more efficient to boot. Is it POSSIBLE? Theoretically speaking, I suppose so. I think I have heard of larger parallel server systems (I think we're talking about mimicking a mainframe at this point). I don't have the background in really big systems to say. But a setup of this type would be restricted by the interfaces used to connect them. Most external connection types cannot move data as fast as the internal systems they support.

If you are contemplating having two systems contained inside one box, running off shared input/output, etc...good luck, the engineering focus of most manufactureers is just not there. You may email me! denodave@yahoo.com
