Hey everyone...I have been away from Citrix (support) for quite some time...I cam across the following issue and I am trying to help my Citrix guys solve it.

MF XP on W2K
App published seamless/anon

App launches and performs fine.

On clients with single monitors colors and resoltion are perfect.

On clients with dual monitors, same display on both screens -- color and resolution are perfect.

On clients with dual monitors -- configured independently -- colors and resolution get TRASHED.

I've considered this....

but it's a little pricey.

Any ideas? Suggestions?

(I swear I had heard of a fix for this...but for the life of me I cannot find it).

You could always check the kilobytes allocated for grephics memory per client? - makes sense that this is the setting to check as usually the citrix policy is to degrade wither resoltuion or colour first? Though typically the default settings are enough?

Try Farm properties > Server Default > ICA > Display (4.5)
and up the Max Mem Settings (ours is 5628 - but may have been changed already, seem to remember the default being around 3mb?)

Thanks....I checked there. That whole tab is greyed out, probably because I don't have access to modify those settings.

But I can see that..

Disgard redundant graphics operations = CHECKED
Alternate caching method = CHECKED
Maximum KB to use for each session's graphics = 5625

Any other suggestions?

what resolutions are these dual monitors actually running? how many colors?

1680 x 1050
32 bit color

Note -- we don't NEED the app to be "dual monitor aware" and span both monitors. But we do NEED it to stop trashing the resolution/colors.
