Trying to setup a dual monitors on my pc.

My Computer Specs:
1)Windows 2000 pro
2)VIA M925 motherboard
3)Onboard S3 Graphics ProSavage DDR display adapter.

So now I have an extra monitor and an extra Diamond Stealth III S540 Extreme AGP video adapter.

Steps Taken to install:
1)Turn off PC
2)Install new AGP card
3)Plug extra monitor into video port.
4)Windows boots up and finds the new hardware.
5)I then install the drivers and reboot.
6)After reboot the system gets the the part where you have the progress bar going and (press F8 for further options) screen.
7)After progress bar finishes I get the default light blue win2000 screen with an hour glass and windows never loads up (waited 30min).

Need help! Any suggestions?

In the BIOS settings change the old port and video card settings to the corresponding new video card. If that fails, make sure that your new video card is compatible with your system.
