Dual Headed Linux Problem 1

I have XWin working, and both monitors up at reasonable resolutions and colors... What I am running into, however, is that no matter what I say in the config, all XWin will do is Clone and not extend the desktop The relivent section of my Config file is as follows:

        Identifier      "Default Layout"
        Screen          "Screen0" RightOf "Screen1"
        Screen          "Screen1"
        InputDevice     "Generic Keyboard"
        InputDevice     "Configured Mouse"
        InputDevice     "Generic Mouse"

        Option          "Clone" "off"

Any and all advice in the matter is welcome.

found the answer a while back and just thought I should post it in case anyone else needs it:

Your color depth must be the same on both monitors... set in the screen sections.
