I was hoping I could get a couple 1.7 - 2.0ghz or so Celeron CPU's to overclock so they have a 400mhz FSB & a 3.0ghz clock speed, and find a dual board to support them. Anyone familiar with this kind of thing? I'm not that familiar with overclocking or dual CPU's :)
Would love to toy with it though - would be sort of an expensive toy though. From what I've seen in search engines, you can only dual Xeon & PII(& old Celerons?) :( and Athlon MP of course

Yes! and don't forget the $2000 of specialized refridgeration equiptment you would need to clock a 1.7 to 3gig :) Replying helps further our knowledge, without comment leaves us wondering.

Well I was just gonna turn one of those small freezers into my case ;)

Question: Would a 2.0ghz Celeron overclocked to 2.5 or so, out perform my AthlonXP 1800(1.53ghz)?
Yes the evil Intel is tempting me :)
But for the price of P4 vs AthlonXP, i'll go with Athlon.
I'm just looking at Celerons because of the price ;)
