I want to install in parallel a win Nt 4.0 and a Win2000 professionnal edition.
But the Windows2000 is already installed.
What the procedure to install Win NT 4.0 in dual boot with Win2000 ?

Tahnks for your help

As long as you didn't make the boot partition FAT32, you should be able to just install NT4 in a similar manner to Win2000.

I hope this helps

I thought you had to install NT and then Win 2000.
You should not be able to install NT after installing
Win 2000.

That's the best way to do it, certainly.

I have managed it the other way round - but I had to backup and restore the root of my boot partition and edit the boot.ini appropriately. It wasn't too tricky.

I have done it by installing NT 4 with SP4. You need SP4 or higher to recognize the new NTFS. Once you have done that you'll be able to install Windows 2000. It is also recommended that you install each within their own partition.
