I've got the mac pro with dual boot. What can i use to quickly switch between the two other then VMware fusion?

Thanks in advance.

A quick gooole search returns a few - Bootcamp - not quick by any means, you have to reboot. Parallels - direct competitior to VMWare and if cost is an issue - Virtual Box

I don't know how much quicker you are going to get switching between the OS's on your box, were you not happy with VMWare?

Depending on the Windows apps that you need, you might be able to run them via Wine 'directly' in OSX.

I'm pretty happy with VirtualBox - certainly can't beat the price.

Only had the macbook (my first) for 2 weeks but running VirtualBox for a Windows XP virtual machine is pretty painless - toughest thing was setting up shared folders but that only took 30 minutes. I only needed Windows for 2 applications, 1 of which I use once a week for 5 minutes to update my speed camera detector and the other which I use about once a month.

I used to dual boot Vista and Ubuntu - the VirtualBox approach is much easier IMHO.
