Hi everyone,

I have a "frankenstein" PC with one 80 GB hard drive and Slackware running on it. I LOVE Slackware and wish to retain it, but I want to try FreeBSD as well. I would like to set up a dual boot but am curious about how to do this.

Option 1: Set up a partition for FreeBSD on my existing hard drive.

Option 2: Add a second (slave) hard drive for FreeBSD.

Which option would be best / easiest? How would I edit LILO to allow a dual boot with that option?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why not try to use VMWare? At least then you won't have to reboot.

Just a suggestion...
