Just a quick question.

Is there anyway I can install two installs of WinServ03 Ent onto a single disk with two completely independent disks in each install.

Install 1 Sees C:\(OS 1) and D:\ (data 1)
Install 2 Sees C:\(OS 2) and D:\ (data 2)

But so Install 2 CAN NOT see Install 1's drives and Visa-versa

(Note : I'm requesting this for a colleague who is doing this remotely) so I dont have access to the systems he is configuring, only able to talk him through it.

If the drives are on the same physical machine and the drives have been formatted, then each instance of the OS will be able to see them.
If you have a local hard disk(s) with a separate RAID array or SAN attached disk then it possible for you to do so since the OS will be reliant on the drivers of the HBA

I thought so, I was just wondering if there is anyway around it? It is running off ONE SAS disk.

Just a quick bump... anyone know anyway we could do this?

What is the reason for this? What about a Virtual Server?

I did suggest this, however was told that they want to do the testing on physical hardware. I know nothing more than this.
