DTSRun.ext Failed to initialize

Help! My DTS package all of sudden failed to run (It has been running well for two years.) When I tried to initialize it manually, I failed in the first step, which is to truncate table. The error message says "only dbo or a member of sysadmin role has right to truncate a table." The strange thing is that I do have sysadmin role and I tried using sa, but both efforts failed. I pcanywhere into the server and see this error:"DTSRun.exe failed to initialize properly." I tried rebooting the server, but still it doesn't work. Does anyone know why? Thank you!!!!! (I'm desparate now...)

Could you create another DTS package which is entirely identical and try again?

Yeah, if I re-create the exact same DTS package with the same id and password, it works. It's so strange...
