I have tried this now 3 times. I DTS'd info into a table within a database successfully (ie says 582 rows imported), but when I open that table, there is nothing in it. If it says it sucessfully imported, why did nothing get imported? I went directly onto the table > all tasks > import, so I know I have the right table.

I'm using sql 2000 enterprise on a cluster server.

Just because you right click on the table doesn't mean that the table is the one that the data is put into.

When you are going through the wizzard it will ask you what table to put the data into. If you are importing from a text file the table name defaults to the name of the file. If you are importing from an Excel sheet it defaults to the name of the sheet. If you are importing from another database, it defaults to the name of the table on the source machine.

You need to select the table you have already created from the drop down list before finishing the import.
