DTS Stored as file?

My boss, gave the ok to have a test server re-loaded. He did not know that my DTS package was on there.

Is there a file I need to look for on the system backup? Or can I restore this from some other way. Or do I have to start over?

Where were the packages?

If in msdb you can restore msdb (to a test server?) and either load and save the package or copy the rows from sysdtspackages.

I try to always load from files and save them in sourcesafe to stop this sort of thing happening.

DTS can be used in a similar way.
