I am very new at DTS and having the following problem. I have created a DTS Package and when I execute it, it completes without errors, but when I schedule the job it fails. Where should I start??

DTS Scheduled Package Fails

Right click on the job in SQL Server Agent and select "View Job History." Select the "Show Job Details" checkbox on the top right of the dialog box. Review the errors you are having.
Search for "scheduling DTS packages" in Books On Line. Jobs scheduled from SQL Server Agent usea the security context of the account used to start up the SQL Server Service account.
It is more than likely a security type issue you are having.
