DTS schedule

Hey all,

We changed the SA password recently on one of our servers.

It now seems that scheduled DTS tasks wont fire saying the SA password is incorrect (the DTS package fires manually).

Now it all packages failed yesterday saying the SA password is incorrect. I have changed in in the SQL server agent the SQL password, also i have checked that the DTS packages uses a different account.

Now the weird thing is - some of the packages now worked today, but some of them still fail on SA.

Where is the residual SA account being used? Where can i change it? What is going on? HELP!

Double click on the server icons in the dts package and change the SA password for the server connection.

P.S. - Post it on the DTS forum next time and you'll probably get a quicker response.

Nope - done that already.

And as i said the actual DTS packages run fine if i trigger them manually.
