DTS Problem 1

Hi Everyone:

I execute a DTS package from the command line as follows:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\binn\DTSrun" /s Ring01 /e /n DTS11 /a CurMth:7=%5

I get:

Error: -2147220460 (80040414); Provider Error: 0 (0)

Error String: Cannot Find specified package in the storage location specified.

This happens on only one of our computers.

What does that mean??

When I run this on a different computer, DTS11 runs fine. When I run DTS11 from Enterprise Mgr it runs fine also.

Can you help?

Check the folder security. Is this using any external files (csv, txt, xls) inside the package?
Also when you created the folder loaction of the file try to use the share \\servername\Folder\filename rather than D:\FolderName\Filename
If you ever using a dts packages to access exteranl files alaways use \\ServerName\Share\
