DTS Package

Hi everyone,

I am trying to transfer data from excel file to my sql database. The problem is I have to read the path of the excel file from the database. I tried to use Dynamic property task for this and it didn't work proeperly. Can anyone please let me know what can in my package to make this work.

Why not posting in a SQL Server forum instead ?

As PHV said a SQL Server forum would be better, but just to clarify things quickly, only SQL 2000 and newer support dynamic properties. Using then with SQL 7 will not issue any error but results will not be what are expected (e.g. properties will NOT change).
