Hi all

I'm doing a review of all the DTS packages we have running on a particular server. I need to find out the last run time on a couple of these - i assume i can find this out by looking in the DTS package logs, but what's weird is that when i in the package log screen, where you get a list of all dts packages, rather than see the names of the packages i see odd names, which i don't think relate to the actual packages on my server...it's hard to explain. Should i expect the list to reflect the actual DTS package names on my server? Does nayone know another way of seeing the last run times of a DTS package?

Thanks

Right click on the package name --> Package logs

IF package logging was turned on for this package - you will see a list of Version - expand the last one and roll down to most recent date. Thats last time pkg ran.

to enable logging,in Design window click Package --> properties. Then go tot Logging check off Logging and click on that servers name - Save pkg. Next execution will be Logged.

Thanks, i have enabled logging on all of these now. Still doesn't explain the weird, unrelated-seeming data that did show up in the package log screen...nevermind tho.

Thansk for responding
