DTS not initializing

We use DTS for our business reporting. It has run fine for the most part, but last night it didn't even kick off and didn't give any error messages as to why it didn't. Is there anything to look at?

Also - is there any DTS Error message guide aside from the help area. Most of the times when we get errors - it just says 'Unspecified error on line 21' - no details as to why.

The SQL Server Agent was set up as well. Has anyone else ever run into this?

Turn on logging in the DTS properties and/or on the Job properties.

Also look the job history, sometimes that gives a good error, and sometime not...

As for your error like 'Unspecified error on line 21' or looking for errors use google and groups.google. Don't know of much else besides the SQL Online books downloaded from microsoft
