DTS Import, too large for specified buffer size

I am doing several imports from text files. I am getting the error message, "Data for source column #('Name') is too large for specified buffer size". I have successfully moved the longest text field to be the first imported row and then not gotten that message. However, in some tables I have multiple fields causing this error. When that happens I cannot get the import to run because I cannot have the longest field be the first for ALL of them.

Any ideas on how to get around this problem?
