Perhaps someone can enlight us on the following:
Our database was lost due to a defective hd. We created a new database, which is empty and imported the data from a Backup Exec backup we made. This works, but we did not get ALL permissions! We used DTS import-export wizard. When we choose to copy all objects we get error: "failed to copy objects". What gives? We would be ever so thankful for a reply!

Did you "import" or "Restore" from a veritas backup? In most senerios I have come across, and implement myself, I have SQL Server do the backups to disc and then roll the backup files, .bak's, to tape via Veritas. Just need some clarification here.

Thanks

All is resolved at the moment, I will post back later with a solution we found at a website that basically describes a routine one can follow when you only have a primary and no log. Had we found this doc in an earlier state we would have saved 4 days of working day and night.

Thanks for replying!
