I am attempting to export data to a flat file from the database. I am attempting to use the following query:

The DTS fails first with the following error:

Error Description: Please specify a valid Name and Ordinal values for the Column.

If I then double click on the Step Name, I am presented with this:

The Data Pump Task requires transformations to be specified.

No transformations should be required because I am exporting, one-for-one, each column in the source to the destination.

Can anyone help? I've seen a lot of examples of this error on the 'Net, but none seem to fit my situation.

Thanks,

Steve

You need to setup aliases for the computted columns.

Transformations are still required even if it's a one to one mapping.
