DTS exported data and Funny characters ÿ

Hi,

I have a problem where I export data from my sql database to a excel spreadsheet. The problem occurs with text Data type fields that contain HTML code.

So once the data has been exported to the excel spreadsheet the data contains lots of funny characters.

For example a space is replaced with ÿ as below.
"<ul><li>ÿThe Business or Function where the "

Has anybody experienced this problem before and is there a way to export the data using DTS that prevents this?

Would be grateful for anybodies advise here.
