DTS Designer error in SQL 7.0

Help me.
When I'm working with SQL 7.0 and I want to edit a DTS this error occurs "DTS Designer error". I have Microsoft Office 97 in my computer and I need to know if I have to upgrade the office version.

Is there any additional informaion in the error message? Which SQL 7 service pack is installed?

You can check some of the following.[ol][li]If someone has edited a DTS package on a client with Service Pack 1 installed, then you'll get an error if you try to open the package on a machine without SP1.

[li]Check the version of Comcat.dll (winnt\system32). DTS requires version 4.71, some software installs version 5. If this is the case on your PC, then replace the v5 of Comcat.dll with v4.71 from your SQL Server CD-ROM.

[li]Other DLL's may not be registered properly. See the file Redist.txt on the root of the CD-ROM for which files to register.

[li]Some problems exist that can be eliminated by upgrading to the most current service pack. Be aware that all clients and servers should be upgraded at the same time due to imcompatibility between the versions installed by each service pack.[/ol] Terry L. Broadbent
