DTS and FTP

I have a requirement to FTP using DTS the web contect from our webserver to a staging server.

can this be done using DTS or is there another better way?

there is FTP functionality in DTS although Ive never used it - if you select type of connection at the top of the DTS pane there is an FTP option.

You can use the FTP object in the DTS package, or write a batch file which will FTP stuff down. I've found that the batch file approach gives you more control than the FTP object.
