I have a DTP-32D-1 32 button Dterm. I can program buttons 01-24 using CMD 90. according to our book(I was handed this system recently) the remaining keys are setup on dss console 02. The extsion numbers in the system for CMD97,02 do not match what works on the phone. where else would these numbers be programmed?

If it is the last 8 keys on the 32 button set they are programmed locally at the station.
To program them press "Conf" the key you wish to program, dial the station/number to be stored, and then press "Conf" again.
To answer your question these numbers are stored in spd memory assigned to the station in CM 94.
