DTMF tones from DECT set

Hi,

Does anyone now if it is possible to change the length of the DTMF tones from a DECT set?

When pushing a button on a normal analog set during a phonecall, the DTMF tone is sent as long as I am pushing the button.
From a DECT set is just a short tone sent, undependent of how long I am pushing the button.

This causes problems for some external products that needs the DTMF tone for a longer duration.
