DTMF over SIP bcm 400 4.0

i am trying to pass DTMF over SIP to a 3rd party decice.
I dial the device but once connected i can not press buttons to navigate.

Any thoughts

Have you tried pressing the star or hash button once connected to enable tone dialling. I thought that was a feature that used to exist on Norstars?.

We had the same issue sort of, any way what fixed ours was changing the following in element manager.
IP Trunks\SIP Trunking\Global Settings: RFC2833 Dynamic payload 120
The "default" on a BCM50 is "0" which disables this feature. Changed to 120 which is the recommened value and now our DTMF tones work. By the way the "default" value on a BCM450 is 120 so no issues.

It's a phone system, NOT a clock!
