DTMF not working with SIP Trunk

3300 MCD6.0 SP1, MBG latest release (too lazy right now to log in and check).

This 3300 has got two othe SIP trunk providers connected and DTMF work great when people dial in and call is answered by Auto Attendant.

With this new sip provider the DTMF don't work when calls are answered by Auto Attendant, people tries to enter digits and auto attendant continues to play... at the end call is transfered to the "operator"

Any idea what can be not set correctly in the SIP peer?

Anything I can ask the provider to change?

Some settings that can affect DTMF

Renegotiate SDP To Enforce Symmetric Codec set to YES
Disable Reliable Provisional Responses set to YES

The biggest problem every SIP trunk provider does something different.

Have they been through the Mitel Interop Testing?

You could check with the provider that they use and support RFC2833 payload. That is what the 3300 wants to get.
